Pumpkin. CheeseCAKE (yes, yes - I know). Graham Cracker Crust.
But it sure as hell looks like pie, don't it?
This is to determine what is and what is not considered pie. Based on the rules that the "crust" must undergo a physical change through the baking* process, we will bring to light some unseemly "pie"-like foods.

I think looking like pie counts for something. Maybe not complete piehood, but I really do think there is a grey area. It looks delicious, that's for sure. :-)
cheesecake is not pie. nor is it cake. It is the wretched offspring of both and loved by neither. As long as someone eats it though, can we condemn it? It had no part in the parentage that spawned it, yet is not the child held accountable to the sins of their parents? Not any more. Cheesecake for all!
